Downtown Holland will host its third annual Spring Fling spring break promotion from April 4–11, offering a week of giveaways, shopping and dining discounts, in-store promotions, and outdoor activities.
The event begins Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. The first 1,000 visitors to stop by the Holland Convention and Visitors Bureau office, 78 E. Eighth St., will receive a free Downtown Holland tote bag, along with an official Spring Fling shopping and dining passport, and a boarding pass featuring “flight” specials at participating restaurants. Totes, passports, and boarding passes will be available throughout the week while supplies last.
“The Holland Visitors Bureau is proud to sponsor the 2026 Spring Fling and partner with Downtown Holland to celebrate the season in the heart of our community,” said Linda Hart, Executive Director of the Holland Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Spring break doesn’t always mean traveling far, and we’re excited to welcome those choosing to stay closer to home and experience all that Holland has to offer. From our vibrant downtown to our unique shops and dining, there’s no better place to enjoy a spring getaway right here in Holland.”
Throughout the week, visitors can collect passport stamps with purchases at more than 40 participating shops and restaurants. Customers who collect 10 stamps may enter a drawing for a Downtown Holland gift card bundle valued at $1,000. A runner-up will receive a $100 gift card to a Downtown Holland business.
Participating businesses will offer 20% discounts during the promotion, with savings on clothing, shoes, accessories, books, gifts, and meals. Participating restaurants, cafes, and pubs will also offer special “flight”-themed items, including cocktails, desserts, and other offerings. A full list of specials is available on the Spring Fling website or on the printed boarding pass.
Spring Fling concludes with outdoor activities on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11. Visitors age 21 and older may purchase beverages from participating Social District establishments and enjoy complimentary yard games along Eighth Street, including cornhole and mini golf. Updates will be posted on the Downtown Holland Facebook page.
The 2026 Spring Fling is sponsored by the Holland Convention and Visitors Bureau. For more information, visit www.hollandspringfling.com or call 616-796-1210.
