Gerald R. Ford International Airport has been recognized as one of the top-performing airports globally for guest experience by Airports Council International World's 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards.

Ford International Airport received multiple awards, including Best Airports at Departures: 2 to 5 Million Passengers in North America, Best Airports: Most Dedicated Staff in North America, and Best Airports: Cleanest Airport in North America.

The awards are based on live research conducted through passenger surveys on the day of travel.

"We are thrilled to once again be recognized with these ASQ awards, that serve as a testament to our team's passion for delivering an exceptional world-class guest experience," said Tory Richardson, President and CEO of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority. "In 2025, we saw another record-breaking passenger number, serving more than 4.3 million passengers, and we are incredibly grateful to our staff and partners for providing award-winning service to our guests."

Every ASQ Customer Experience Award is shaped by more than 700,000 passenger voices each year, gathered on-site, in real time, and in multiple languages.

"Being awarded ASQ Customer Experience Awards by ACI recognizes Gerald R. Ford International Airport as a leading airport for passenger experience and service excellence," said Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World. "This distinction, based on feedback from travelers, highlights your commitment to delivering world-class airport experiences."

The Airports Council International ASQ initiative is the airport industry's only global benchmarking program measuring passenger satisfaction across 30 performance indicators. With over 400 airports participating in 110 different countries, more than half of the world's travelers pass through an Airport Service Quality airport.
