Former WWE superstar to main event lakeshore pro wrestling show

Former WWE/NXT superstar and current TNA performer Matt Rehwoldt, formerly known as Aiden English, will headline a night of professional wrestling in Holland on Saturday, May 17. Pure Pro Wrestling (PPW) brings its live show to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2114, located at 175 West 8th St., for an event benefiting local veterans.

The event will raise funds and awareness for the local VFW, supporting veterans in the community.

Rehwoldt will face Danny Astro in the night’s main event for the AIWF Continental Championship. The card also features a title defense by Michigan Tag Team Champions, the Midwest Misfits, as they take on their fierce rivals, Obsidian.

In another match, Michigan State Heavyweight Champion Father Time, nicknamed “Michigan’s Miracle Man,” will face wrestling veteran Gideon Malice. Father Time’s return to the ring follows an inspiring journey of overcoming blindness, cancer and a stroke.

PPW produces family-friendly live professional wrestling events across the Midwest. The organization partners with schools, fairs, festivals, nonprofits, civic groups, and religious institutions to help raise funds through its events. For more information, visit http://www.pureprowrestling.net.
