Heating and cooling company acquired to expand southwest Michigan service

Holland-based Baumann and DeGroot Heating and Cooling has acquired Haven Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., a South Haven-based company. The latter will now operate as Haven Heating & Cooling, a Baumann & DeGroot Company, expanding service to customers in South Haven, Saugatuck, and the surrounding southwest Michigan market.

“For more than thirty years, Baumann & DeGroot has built strong roots in the Holland area,” said Chad Baumann, Sales Manager of Baumann & DeGroot Heating & Cooling. “Our team members are local people who are proud to support the communities they call home. We’re excited to serve even more home and business owners by welcoming Haven Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. as part of our company.”

Haven Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. was founded in 1994 and has been a provider of HVAC services for residential and commercial clients in South Haven. Starting September 11, 2025, the company continued serving customers through its existing phone number, now operating under the name Baumann & DeGroot. Customers booking HVAC services will continue to work with the Haven team while gaining access to the additional support and expertise of Baumann & DeGroot.
