Hope Network is launching Concierge Mental Health Services, an innovative approach designed to help employers across Michigan prioritize holistic workforce well-being by removing barriers to care and connecting employees to mental health support more quickly and effectively.

The new service addresses a growing challenge for Michigan employers: while demand for mental health care continues to rise, employees often face long wait times, confusing systems, and limited engagement with traditional Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Hope Network’s concierge model offers a more proactive, coordinated solution focused on early intervention and ongoing support.

“Too often, mental health care is hardest to access at the moment someone needs it most,” said Dr. Kiran Taylor, Chief Medical Officer at Hope Network. “This model is about changing that reality, ensuring employees can connect to the right care quickly, before challenges escalate into crises. When access improves, outcomes improve – for individuals and for the organizations they’re part of.”

Hope Network’s Concierge Mental Health Services include guided navigation, therapy and counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, crisis intervention, wellness coaching, and coordinated follow-up care. Services are delivered virtually or in person, depending on employer and employee needs.

Unlike traditional models, the program emphasizes proactive care and personalized support, helping employees engage earlier and more consistently. Employers can choose flexible program structures tailored to their workforce, including employer-sponsored, hybrid, or insurance-based options.

“Employers are looking for benefits that truly support their teams, and that means making care easier to access, not harder,” said Lisa Misenhimer, Business Director of Hope Network Professional Services. “Our concierge approach simplifies the process, connects employees to care faster, and creates a more supportive experience from start to finish. It’s a meaningful shift from reactive programs to solutions that help people stay well.”

Early results from a pilot program conducted in partnership with HealthBar demonstrate the model’s potential impact. Participants receiving care through Hope Network experienced significant improvements in both depression and anxiety, reinforcing the value of coordinated, accessible support.

For employers, improved access to care can translate into measurable business benefits, including reduced absenteeism, increased engagement, and stronger retention.

The launch reflects Hope Network’s broader commitment to expanding access to behavioral health care and supporting healthier communities across Michigan.

“Workplace mental health is not just a benefits issue – it’s a workforce and community issue,” Dr. Taylor added. “By investing in earlier, more accessible care, employers can help build stronger, more resilient teams.”
