A new kind of primary care clinic for seniors is opening its doors in Grand Rapids with a mission to help older adults live longer and better. Trueline Health, a senior‑focused primary care clinic built around lifestyle‑based interventions, personalized care, and longer visits, will celebrate its grand opening and community open house on May 6 at 3:30 p.m. Trueline Health is located at 2040 Raybrook Street SE, Suite 200.
The free public event welcomes adults 65+, caregivers, and community partners to tour the new clinic, meet the care team, and learn how Trueline Health is rethinking what senior healthcare can look like.
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place at 4 p.m., followed by welcome speech from Lead Physician Dr. Abha Varma and Founder Nancy Tuohy, an open house featuring free lifestyle consult, panel discussions, clinic tours, refreshments, and live conversations with Trueline Health’s physicians, care team, and patients.
According to Trueline Health, the clinic was created in response to a growing concern shared by many aging adults and caregivers that traditional primary care often doesn’t give seniors enough time, support, or lifestyle interventions to combat chronic conditions and maintain independence.
By combining conventional medical care with evidence‑based lifestyle intervention and ongoing care support, Trueline Health will offer a more proactive, relationship‑driven approach to aging well, supported by a multidisciplinary care team focused on long‑term partnership with patients rather than rushed visits.
“Our goal is to help seniors stay independent, active, and confident in their health—rather than constantly reacting to illness,” said Nancy Tuohy, Founder of Trueline Health. “National older Americans Month is the perfect time to re‑center the conversation around lifestyle intervention, quality of life, and the kind of care older adults truly deserve.”
