Restaurants support Autism awareness with cocktail promotion

In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, Essence Hospitality Group is partnering with Hope Network’s Center for Autism to give back in a meaningful and personal way. From now through the end of April, Essence Hospitality Group is donating a portion of proceeds from signature cocktail sales at Lucy’s, Bistro Bella Vita, and Grove to support autism services provided by Hope Network.

The initiative is inspired in part by a deeply personal connection within the Essence Hospitality Group family. Shelly Berg, a pasta maker at Bistro Bella Vita, has a 17-year-old son, Dylan, who has received Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at Hope Network’s Center for Autism for the last 12 years.

“This partnership is a powerful example of what community looks like in action,” said Bob Von Kaenel, President and CEO of Hope Network. “Essence Hospitality Group is amplifying stories like Dylan’s and helping ensure that families have access to life-changing services. We’re grateful for their continued commitment to the autism community.”

Community members are encouraged to visit participating Essence Hospitality Group restaurants throughout April to support the cause.

“Behind every child we serve is a family making sacrifices and showing incredible strength,” added Von Kaenel. “Support from partners like Essence Hospitality Group helps ease that burden and ensures more children can access the therapies they need to grow and thrive. That kind of community commitment truly changes lives.”
