Brewery unveils fall menu, expanded happy hour, and events

Founders Brewing Co. is kicking off the fall season with a refreshed food menu, new weekly event schedule, and expanded happy hour offerings in its Grand Rapids taproom located at located at 235 Grandville Ave SW. The updates mark a return to fan favorites and the debut of new items and experiences designed to bring guests together over craft beer and good food.
Highlights of the food menu include the return of throwback sandwiches such as Rubin’s Reuben, Charise’s Reuben, and Cheesy Does It. Guests can also enjoy a new Michigan beef smash burger—available single, double, or triple stacked—and flatbread pizzas. All items are designed to pair with Founders’ award-winning beers.
The taproom will also launch a weekly schedule of events, including:
Monday – College & Industry Day: All-day happy hour for college students and service industry workers
Tuesday – Open Mic Night with Big Jake Bootstrap, 6–9:30 p.m.
Wednesday – 90s Night: $3 select pints, retro gaming tournaments, and more from 9–11 p.m.
Thursday – Jazz Jam: Live jazz with guest sit-ins from 7–10 p.m.
Happy hour will now run Monday through Thursday from 2–6 p.m.
“Our latest menu is rooted in the same spirit that built our brewery: bold flavors, crafted with care, and meant to be shared,” said Mallory Walters, Director of Retail Operations, Founders Brewing Co. “You’ll see old favorites and meet a few new friends, all designed to be enjoyed with a cold pint, just like we want you to experience every single time you visit our Taproom.”
Founders is also preparing for two upcoming weekend celebrations: Oktoberfest Weekend (Sept. 19–21): Featuring limited beer releases and food specials. Harvest Weekend (Sept. 26–28): A community celebration in support of the Hispanic Center of West Michigan, featuring limited beer releases, food specials, giveaways, live music, and donation opportunities. Staff from the Hispanic Center will be on hand to share their mission during Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Founders taproom is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The kitchen closes nightly at 10 p.m.
