The Potter’s House announced the appointment of Miles Colago as assistant superintendent and Janorisè Robinson as high school principal as the faith-based educational organization heads into its 46th school year. The appointments follow the departure of former High School Principal Alf Clark, who accepted a head of school position at another school.
“We are filled with gratitude for what God has done throughout this process. Miles and Janorisè each bring a deep commitment to The Potter’s House mission and strength to our leadership team, and we are confident they are exactly what our school needs for the years ahead,” said Christine Metzger, Superintendent, The Potter’s House.
Both leaders have a strong history with The Potter’s House and were selected for their new roles because of their understanding of the school’s mission, culture, and community.
Colago, who served in multiple roles at The Potter’s House from 2015–2022, will provide leadership and support across both the PreK–8 and high school campuses. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and secondary education and a Master of Education in educational leadership from Calvin College and is currently pursuing a doctorate in philosophy for organizational leadership from Columbia International University.
Robinson is another familiar face to The Potter’s House community. Previously serving as director of teaching and learning, she has been promoted to high school principal and brings 30 years of experience in education to the role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in social science from Calvin College, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University Chicago, an elementary education certificate from Aquinas College and is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership from Concordia University Chicago.
