Foundation elects new trustees

Grand Rapids Community Foundation recently welcomed four new trustees: Karen Dujovny, Lynne Ferrell, James Logan, and Laura Radle. 

Karen Dujovny is the Chief Investment Officer of VA Enterprises. An experienced finance professional, Karen has expertise in institutional investing, wealth management, banking, corporate finance, and more. 

Lynne Ferrell is an experienced leader who worked at the Frey Foundation for more than 20 years and has served on many nonprofit boards. Lynne is now CEO of Midwest Giving Strategies, specializing in strategic counsel, executive coaching, and support to nonprofits and the philanthropic sector. 

James Logan is president and CEO of Wege Foundation. His professional experience includes working with the Greater New Orleans Foundation, municipal government, and community legal services.  

Laura Radle is a Partner at Varnum, LLP, specializing in estate planning for families and succession planning for family-owned businesses. She has partnered with the Community Foundation professionally for years and is co-chair of the Community Foundation's Professional Advisory Committee.

"I am thrilled to welcome four new trustees to the Community Foundation board," said LaSandra Gaddy, President and CEO of Grand Rapids Community Foundation. "Each new member brings unique professional expertise and a passion for community giving." 

Chair of the Board for 2026 is Caitlin Townsend Lamb, Flight Deck Leader, GE Aerospace. The immediate past chair is Reneé Williams, Senior Vice President, Community Development, Huntington Bank.  

Retiring from the board at the end of 2025 are Emily Loeks, Director of Community Affairs, Studio C; Dr. Brandy Lovelady-Mitchell, Deputy Superintendent of Preschool-12 Learning and Leadership, Grand Rapids Public Schools; Thomas Kyros, Partner, Varnum, LLP; and Daniel Williams, President, Steelcase Foundation.
