Kids' Food Basket (KFB) is celebrating two decades of its annual Gobble Wobble Fun Run and Walk. This Thanksgiving morning tradition invites families, neighbors, friends, and pets to run or walk to the finish line on November 27. The run will take place at East Grand Rapids Middle School, 2425 Lake Drive SE. All race proceeds benefit Kids' Food Basket.

Festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with the Widdle Wobble. This .4-mile course is open to all kids 12 and under. The youth event is free, with only a sign-up required to participate. The Gobble Wobble will begin immediately after the Widdle Wobble concludes.

"This is the 20th year for this fun, community-centered event, and it has been an inspiring two decades," said Tamara VanderArk-Potter, VP of Philanthropy, Kids' Food Basket. "We always love seeing neighbors come together to make a difference on this impactful day of gratitude to kick off a season of reflection and giving. Just $10 can provide evening meals for a child for an entire week, so every single runner is meaningful for local kids."

KFB currently serves 11,000 nutritious evening meals every school day to children in 66 schools throughout Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, and Allegan counties. The food equity organization combines this access with agriculture and education, operating two ten-acre farms that distribute fresh produce directly to the community and teaching lessons about healthy food, how it's grown and why it matters.
