Lakeshore farmers market opens, welcomes new vendors

The Holland Farmers Market will officially open its 2026 outdoor season on May 13 at the Eighth Street Market Place, 150 W. Eighth St., in downtown Holland. The market will operate outdoors every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. Each season, the Holland Farmers Market brings together more than 80 local farmers, specialty food vendors, and food trucks offering fresh fruits and vegetables, bread and baked goods, eggs and meat, honey, maple syrup, jams, gourmet specialty foods, and more.

Customers are encouraged to shop early in the day for the best product selection.

“Our team couldn’t be more thrilled for the start of the 2026 season of the Holland Farmers Market,” said Kara de Alvare, Director, Holland Farmers Market. “After a long winter, we are really looking forward to being back outside to fulfill our mission of connecting the community with fresh, healthy, and local food. We can’t wait to welcome back all of our farmers, vendors, and new and returning customers this Wednesday.”

The market will also welcome five new vendors for the 2026 season:

ZOMburgers, a burger truck from Hamilton
Pera Pizzeria, a wood-fired pizza truck from Grand Rapids
Bella Vista Farm, a flower and fruit vendor from Fennville, formerly known to customers as White Barn Flower
Nature’s Market, a Holland-based health food vendor
Kittywampus Soda, a small-batch soda company from Zeeland

Bridge Cards and Sun Bucks (Michigan Summer EBT) cards are accepted at the Holland Farmers Market. The market also participates in the Double Up Food Bucks program, allowing Bridge Card holders to receive up to an additional $20 in tokens to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. Pets are not permitted at the market.
