Zeeland-based Creative Dining Services has launched a new line of convenient, performance-driven meals specifically designed for athletes. With Fit Fuel Meals, athletes on the go can now access meals rich in macro and micronutrients that support their demanding lifestyles.
Fit Fuel™ Meals are crafted to fuel an athlete's fitness journey, supporting everything from nutritional and physical gains to recovery and endurance. These meals adhere to the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2020-2025 and have been reviewed and approved by Creative Dining's Corporate Dietitian. They also align with the standards of the NCAA Sport Science Institute College and the Professional Sports Dietitians Association.
The Fit Fuel™ line features four distinct meal categories, each tailored to specific athletic needs and identifiable by unique icons on their packaging in the Good to Go Market™.
Protein Push: Meals providing a higher percentage of lean protein and complex carbs, with a macro breakdown of 25% Protein, 50% Carbs, and 25% Fat.
High Intensity: Designed as pre-event and pre-workout meals, these options contain 20% more calories than standard meals. They consist of 50% of calories from complex carbs with the addition of lean protein and vegetables, providing 20% Protein, 60% Carbs, and 20% Fat.
Balanced: Meals for overall balanced nutrition, curated explicitly for athletic sports and positions, featuring 30% Protein, 50% Carbs, and 20% Fat.
Recovery Mode: Post-workout meals crafted with balanced protein and complex carbs to aid in muscle and glycogen recovery, offering 25% Protein, 50% Carbs, and 25% Fat.
