Restaurant announces new hours, renewed commitment
K- ROK Korean BBQ & Karaoke Soju Cocktail Bar, known for its bold flavors and vibrant karaoke nights, is ushering in a new chapter. Starting October 14, the locally owned restaurant and bar will now be open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Tuesday through Sunday. They will also offer nightly food and drink specials, along with updated menu offerings rooted in generations of Korean culinary tradition.
Founded on family recipes passed down from the owner’s Korean grandmother and mother, K-Rok blends heritage, heart, and hospitality in every dish. “We put all our heart and Seoul into our cuisine to make it enjoyable for everyone,” said Rob Yoon, Owner, K- ROK, whose inspiration came from their mother, Oma, who raised seven siblings after losing her own mother at age 11.
After facing staffing challenges and service inconsistencies during a brief absence, the Yoon is returning with renewed focus.
K-ROK is located at 169 Louis, Campau Promenade Ste 1A, in downtown Grand Rapids, across the street from JW Marriott. Learn more at https://krokgr.com/.
