Veterinary hospital opens three new locations

Lovet Pet Health Care℠ has opened three new veterinary hospitals in the Grand Rapids area, deepening its investment in West Michigan and expanding access to full-service, high-quality pet care. The new locations—on Alpine Avenue, Beltline Avenue, and Breton Road—bring Lovet’s local footprint to four hospitals since its Michigan debut in April 2025. Lovet Pet Health Care is owned by Chicago-based The Aspen Group.

Each hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services, including urgent and preventive care, in facilities designed to reduce stress for both pets and pet parents. Services are supported by advanced AI-enabled diagnostics, in-house x-rays, and flexible scheduling with weekend hours.

Since opening its first Grand Rapids hospital at 4290 Lake Michigan Drive NW in April, Lovet has cared for more than 2,200 pets and welcomed 1,900 new pet parents.

Lovet’s hospitals are staffed by veterinarians with more than 40 years of combined clinical experience. The care teams receive ongoing training and work collaboratively to support strong clinical outcomes for pets. Lovet launched its first Michigan hospital in April 2025 at 4290 Lake Michigan Drive NW.
